This became clear from official information published by the revenue agency in early June 2025, marking the beginning of the actual implementation of this international standard in the country. In addition, the public consultation on the project ended at the beginning of this month and all the comments and suggestions received from businesses and professional organizations have already been considered by the administration. How Businesses Can Prepare for 2026 and the New Currency?

From 1 January 2026, Bulgaria will introduce the euro as its official currency. This is a long-awaited step in our European integration, but also a serious challenge for business - legal, technological and psychological. Although the fixed lev/euro exchange rate has been in place for a long time, the actual changeover will require a reworking of a number of processes, systems and communications. Beyond the calculator: why this change is significant The changeover is not just a formal conversion of values. It should introduce a new way of thinking. Synchronisation between ERP and robots - another successful PLANA project

Thanks to hard work and an innovative approach, the Plana Solutions team implemented the first ever full warehouse automation project - entirely through a proprietary ERP integration with autonomous mobile robots. One of the biggest challenges was working with a Chinese manufacturer's system that is not compatible with the default ERP platform. Through intensive communication and custom middleware developed by the Plana team, a fully functional integration was achieved. To date, the multi-acre warehouse can function without human intervention. The robots are controlled remotely and in real time via an ERP system upgraded with Plana development. After a request in the system, the robots move boxes from the shelves to the picking or replenishment areas - accurately, quickly and in sync. In a
